Major League Baseball on the prowl

We have all read at this point that Major League Baseball has filed a lawsuit to try and extract evidence from the Florida clinic that has made claims to supplying players with PEDs inside the past. The clinic has refused to turn this evidence over to the league simply because they asked nicely; so now they usually have decided to ask not so nicely. This is probably more info on applying legal pressure than it is mostly about actually trying to have the legal system force the documents to be turned over. In fact, the courts will probably laugh right in face of the league's lawyers because there is really no justification for this lawsuit.

A few months ago, news was leaked on every major outlet that the Biogenesis clinic in south Florida had records of PED sales to Major League Baseball athletes. With little more than scribble on a notepad, there was little for the league to go on as far as determining the validity of the reports. Several players came out offering an explanation on why their names were tied to the clinic, some of those explanations were later proved to be false. And even though a few of those statements were found to be false, there was still very little physical evidence. Most likely, the league in conjunction with the Joint Drug Agreement 'JDA'; there has to be evidence not only suspicion. The league wants the proof and now these are typically trying to bully their way to the truth.

The Biogenesis Clinic has no legal obligation to turn anything over to Major League Baseball. More importantly, you will find a code of ethics in reporting that says which they should, and probably will, go out of their option to protect their sources. On that front, this lawsuit tactic will probably to not ever much to intimidate anyone as much as it will simply piss them off.

This might be definitely a sticky situation; Major League Baseball has an obligation to investigate this and the opposite side has every right to keep their documents private. I can't really fault the league for trying but ultimately they will probably fail. It is tough to tell what path this will take within the weeks and months to come, but you can be sure there are several players that are sweating a little bit.

The league is out for blood; primarily they need very badly to issue suspensions to Alex Rodriguez and Ryan Braun. It was reported that they have gone as far as offering immunity with other players for a little bit of dirt on these two. The players' union would like raise almighty hell in the event the league issued any suspension from whatever they have now which is the reason the league wants, and needs, an abundance of evidence. And then boom, they will drop the hammer!

As it stands today, I don't see Major League Baseball letting this go away without some big names being issued suspensions. The problem lies in what they are getting to need to do to get enough evidence to get the results which they are searching for. It should be very tough to accomplish the desired results without compromising the system in general.

Major League Baseball has it's work cut out but there are punishments coming; most likely, they might be to far in to stop trying now! It's will be interesting to watch this one.

Instead, just stick to water. Energy drinks will absolutely not help you improve the height of your vertical jump.

Now that you have a steady diet going for you, the next thing you need to do is find a good workout program. The Major League Baseball story over time

We all never forget our first time attending a Major League baseball game. The feeling of walking through the concourse, peeking out at the field, being in amazement of the beauty of a big league ballpark was magnificent. The smell of the varied foods mixed with the smell of the fresh cut grass was sensory overload. Once you finally get to your seat, you gaze out at the field enthused that you are this close to your heroes. Never has it been so pleasing to see a grown man do stretches and gently toss a baseball back and forth.

I think about my first game was at Atlanta's old Fulton County Stadium back in 1982; I was 8 years old at the time. I didn't always have the best attention span as a kid but when I was at the ballpark witnessing my beloved Atlanta Braves I was as focused as I could possibly be. I would sit there in pure astonishment at the sights and sounds that were around me, at that instance nothing else mattered. I was in baseball heaven.

The sensation thirty years ago is much different than it is today. There weren't stylish restaurants, there weren't a hundred different games to play to help keep the kids in the crowd excited. There was classic foods and drinks and baseball, that was plenty. The kids all had a great time as did the adults; of course, the adults could just sit there and light up a smoke without having to go stand in a yellow square somewhere away from the activity. Those were the days.

Today, the story is much different; not better or worse, just completely different. You enter the ballparks of Major League Baseball today and you can walk through the concourses and view the entire field, take in all of the sights and sounds, all while standing in line for some food. The environment today is much more energetic and fan friendly. Major League Baseball has done a great job over the years making the parks more fan friendly and making it a more involved experience from start to finish. And the food options are a hell of a lot better today than in years past. From the minute you walk in the front gates until the point you leave, there is pure excitement.

I'm not sure when exactly this happened but somewhere along the line a baseball variation of cheerleaders was added to the experience. This is a band of about ten young, and very attractive, women getting the fans riled up. It all goes to the overall experience that makes the experience much different than it was as a child.

I can say that the experience of a game today is much more exciting than it was thirty years ago. In many regards, I think that Major League Baseball undervalues the value of the actual game and feels the need to add extra entertainment where it isn't really needed. The product is great without all of the extras at every single park, but the extra thought put into the experience is appreciated. Major League Baseball has made the game experience the best economic value of all major sports.
